I am LOVING Australia.  Wish you were here having a wicked time with the echidnas & I!  I have been trying some emergency disaster funding since I have not been able to work in any local capacity (not even busking) for my self due to having trouble applying for a residential status to stay here with my partner who is an Australian/EU citizen and legally work.  So, instead of feeling sorry fo myself, I am trying to be LEGITAMENTLY USEFUL! :D Now, I hope you do not think I might want to keep a dime of this money!! I thought it would help me to more feel sane (less helpless) if I was to pursue a much smaller amount of money than the cost of a partner/spouse Visa application to stay in Australia so if I can not make money for my present life condition and relationship, I might as well at make use of my time participating in raising and giving several thousands of dollars to aid victims of disasters..... Kinda makes sense from a yoga perspective.  Well, I guess I should just feel relieved that there are people like www.mercycorp.org who make it easy. I will go back to silently praying now.

Ha! Ha! Ha!  Have you been getting your giggles lately or has it been challenging to chuckle? Pratyahara

Pratyahara  means to turn the senses toward within oneself. Prati- counter/away/against (and can also mean TOWARD or to OBSERVE) Ahara- food or anything taken into ourselves. I would also like to extract the word "hara" from "Pratyahara", to make an interesting point... Hara - Energetic center, also associated with what we refer to as "the second chakra", called Swadisthana [sweetness] (womb -- can still be symbolic in males as that very source of self residing within us all.)
