Kriya day 9

Feeling awesome.. Someone else wasn't, so I had to leave for the day.. Had a glorious one.  Filled with convenient synchronous events.. On the bus, called friends to see if I could maybe spend some time with them and they happened to be JUST GETTING OFF OF THE SAME BUS I WAS ON... XD.  They invited me to lunch with family so I got off when I could and transferred to the bus they were waiting for.  Ahh.. Not only that, I must say that some very positive phenomena also occurred for my sweetheart.. He connected with his good friend and had an outing with him and his little one. Eventually came around, apologized and all was well again.  After all, many changes are happening to many of us so it's VERY IMPORTANT to not just snap at those around you who are dumping emotion on you. REMEMBER that they are going through their own samscaras (basically like wounds or scars in the intellect) good to just allow some space for them to work their way through us as they heal.  Just like how in the film "Stand By Me", a vomit-fest was triggered at the pie eating contest, so can our samscaras cause the same mutual trigger effect, our thoughtless, reactionary acts cause others pain or misery and if we are unaware of this mechanism, we in turn will feed into the cycle; knee-jerking our way to a miserable oblivion.  Cleansing is not easy.  Does anything get nice and shiny without a bit of good old fashioned elbow grease? No!  This is why, if we want to attain a high level of wisdom (appropriately named "mirror-like" by the Buddhists) in this life, we MUST put forth the effort to transform, which requires us to let go of a venomous temptation-- the temptation to be sadistic toward those around you who are just trying to live life.
